It’s a 33 Day Prayer Journey

Sharpening Your Saw with Prayer

Join me for 33 days of prayer.

We all need prayer no matter where we are in the boardroom, the White House, or the pulpit; in the classroom, at the library, in the kitchen, on the road or in the air, at our desk or a sales conference. We all need prayer no matter who we are: a mother of one or five, a father raising a family, students and professors, writers and musicians, celebrities and ordinary people, divorced, single or newly married. Pray changes things. Prayer changes people. Prayer changes the atmosphere.

Solomon prayed for wisdom.
Hannah prayed for a son.
Hezekiah prayed for healing on his deathbed.
Mary prayed praises of Good News.
Jabez prayed not to be in pain and not to cause pain.
Anna prayed at all times.
Jesus prayed for God to reveal himself.

Won’t you join me in 33 days of prayer? I’ll post a pray every day for 33 days on Twitter, Instagram, Linkedin as well as Off the Hooks Facebook page and blog post.

In 2013, I took a step of faith and posted the 33 days of prayer. It was a moment of hope in the world of social media because I am not ashamed of my faith and sharing what works to keep me balanced, to help me sharpen my saw in all areas of my life from the physical and mental to the emotional and spiritual.

In 2013, more than 100 people joined me with Thumbs up and Amens. Some were silently praying and posting their prayers. So, I extend the invitation to you to join me in 33 days of prayer.

Now, I have to warn you. The prayers are not all happy and look at what God has done for my prayer, but prayers of struggle, renewal, and looking at the ugly within ourselves; coming face to face with self. That’s how prayer changes the atmosphere.

Image prayer as a blanket and when we pray together we are blanketed, covered in warmth and protection, love and joy.

Send a prayer my way, ask for prayer, post a prayer. Silently pray.

What does prayer do:
Prayer changes the atmosphere.

Until next time,

I Pray God’s best life for you,
