Dr. Angela Hooks teaches life-writing studies: diaries, memoirs, autobiography, biography, and personal essays. She teaches world literature from novels, short stories, and poems to drama, film, and diary as literature. Angela’s pedagogical style is a hybrid approach: constructive, reflective, and collaborative. She coaches students on how to think critically, construct questions and answers, explore their thoughts and feelings, and write creatively. Students will learn how to become a participant in the research and bring to life topics they care about with purpose.
Dr. Hooks is currently on a teaching hiatus.
